Cat Outta Hell
A short adventure where you play as a cat trying to escape the clutches of Hell.
Made in 10 days for the Pixel Game Jam 2025.
Note: The web version seems to have some issues with playing audio consistently. We're not allowed downloadable files in the jam, so I'll upload those later.
You can also play it with sound from my website.
I have plans to add more levels, enemies, and polish it up, so let me know if you like it and if you think it's worth continuing with!
Controls
- Left / Up / Right: Move
- Down: Crouch (for higher jump)
- Shift: Run
- Space: Jump
- Return/Enter: Scratch
AI use
- Used only for debugging code and learning
- NO graphics/audio were made with AI

Very nice game!!! the pixel art its beautiful, the controls are soft and funny, i just missed some background music, but the game in general is awesome, congratulations :)
Thanks heaps! It actually does have background music but there's a godot bug fhat stops it after a few seconds. On my YouTube I posted a gameplay video which has the audio in it.
The art is very beautiful! the gameplay is also fun!
although I got stuck in the area where the gorilla was, I could not climb, I do not know if I'm stupid or what haha

Thank you! Try using the crouch before you jump near the big guy. Also sorry about the music but it's just a bug. The music that starts when you spawn is supposed to keep playing but it doesn't on the web version. Thanks for playing!

I really like the beginning of the game. It's cool. The graphics are beautiful. I like the scene with the giants. Even though it's a bit difficult, it's still cool.

Great art and fun gameplay, good work ! Some platforms are really challenging First i forgot to use crouch for higher jump and in boss area i lost so much time because of that :D
Yeah the crouch makes it tricky! I probably should make it clearer in-game what you need to do. But sounds like you got it eventually :)
